    3 Marine Geospatial Ecology Tools (MGET) is a Python package that provides software tools useful in spatial ecology studies. Most tools were developed for coastal and marine projects but many may be applied to terrestrial problems as well. All are implemented as functions with input and output parameters and no user interfaces, and are intended to be executed from scripts and workflow systems. The functions are exposed for convenient invocation from a variety of environments.
